8. How to Mix FoamDaddy Foam Gel Solution

In this video, we're going to talk about three specific things one transporting your finished foam daddy ready foam solution to how much solution to add to your water container at your events and three how to properly dilute Ultra concentrated foam daddy, Joe which remember after you dilute it it becomes foam daddy ready foam solution before we jump into mixing the solution. It's important to think about how are you going to transport and use your Solution on site? There are two ways most foam daddy customers go about adding solution some like to carry around a five gallon bucket and scoop out the appropriate amount needed others like to carry around a couple one gallon jugs each are great in their own way five gallon buckets, maybe heavy for some to carry but take up less space in the car a couple one gallon jugs are lighter take up more space, but it's easier for your crew members to see how much is left and to calculate how much to use

Speaking of which let's get into the ratios. You're going to be using at your events. We recommend that you add half a gallon of solution to about 40 gallons of water. So if you're at a party that lasts one hour, you're probably going to go through about two gallons of solution. Give or take keep in mind that sometimes more solution may be needed depending on crowd size wind or even water hardness as you put on more and more events. You'll be able to gauge what works best for you for where you live.

If you're using the bucket method, it's two quarts or if you're using this handy-dandy cup from Lowe's it's two scoops. If you're using one gallon jugs, it's half this amount.

It's also super important to remember never ever put uncut undiluted foam. Daddy. Gel into your water containers.

All right, let's jump into mixing Ultra concentrated foam. Daddy. Gel. The first thing you want to do is give yourself enough time. We recommend mixing it during the day and letting it sit overnight so that it has time to dissolve completely. We recommend being prepared and making gel far in advance so that you're ready when last-minute bookings come in, but if you're in a pinch and you need to get it done quickly, it's easily accomplished within two hours using hot water mixing those solution with the drill every 15 minutes and leaving it out in between mixes in the sun. It's important to know that once your jealous mixed it will last forever on the Shelf. So no worry about expiring or anything like that. We find that diluting foam daddy gel in a kitchen bathtub or even outside with a hose works. Great. Okay, here's what you'll need today. Loot the ultra concentrated foam. Daddy. Gel You're Gonna Want a five gallon bucket. Now if you're going to transport everything in one gallon jugs, you may want to get a six gallon beverage. Spencer next you're going to need something to mix all the gel with you can go as simple as a paint stick or we like to recommend a drill with a paint mixer attachment. It makes it a lot faster next you'll want some gloves because it can be a sticky situation and last you'll want the ultra concentrated foam. Daddy. Gel. Now the goal of this video is to create foam daddy ready foam solution, which is one gallon of foam daddy, gel and four gallons of water you put that together, let it dilute it becomes foam daddy ready foam solution. So we're gonna go ahead and fill up a five gallon bucket and I'll give you some tips along the way. All right, here we go.

I'm gonna fill it up with hot water. It makes it dilute a lot faster. You don't have to use hot water. Just make sure you give it enough time. Like what we said before give it a day and overnight to dilute. All right. So here we go.

All right. So what I've done is I've filled up this five gallon bucket to about five inches from the top. So just remember five gallon bucket five inches from the top now. I'm about to pour the foam daddy gel into it. But to make this process a little bit smoother what you might want to do is Lay Your foam out in the sun for a little while. It'll make it come out a lot smoother or as you're filling up the bucket. You could put the bag inside. Let me show you what that looks like. So if I put the the bag in the bucket you have about an inch and a half two inches from the top. Okay, that'll give you enough space to make so if you decide to do that method you can

now let's go ahead and put the foam daddy gel into the bucket before I do that. I do want to mention if you're using the water dispenser. You're gonna put it about an inch below this lip line now, it is 16 quarts. There's actually a measurement on the back of the beverage dispenser. So 16 quarts equals four gallons. Okay, so when you put your foam daddy solution, which I will in a moment, you'll see it's gonna take it to about an inch or so above that. All right. So let's go ahead and pour the foam daddy gel into the five gallon bucket.

I'm gonna take off this little ring so it doesn't fall inside.

There's these two little holes here. I like to hold on to and there we go.

Filling it all the way up.

Just like so now I like to increase this part. This is worth the the main chunks of everything kind of get stuck.

squeeze it down just like so

All right, great. And now from this corner, I'm gonna start.

Rolling it and get every last drop.

of that foam daddy gel in there

All right, so I'm gonna squeeze the sides out get every little less drop in there.

And again using the the gloves makes it easier to get everything out.

All right. And then what I like to do is open this bag back up and you want to get every last drop so I'm Gonna Fill This back.

Up a little bit with water.

There it goes.

Great.

Just a little bit of water. I can put the top on it.

Just like this.

Turn it upside down. I'm just really get all of that.

That gel from all the corners so you can really utilize all the foam daddy. Gel just like this and you can just leave it there and when you go to your next event, just pour it into pour it in the container. Once you're done with that just pour it in there, too.

Okay.

Great. So next I'm gonna switch out my gloves because everything's gotten a little bit sticky and I'm gonna go ahead and drill now before I drill I'm gonna put on some gloves because in a moment, I'm gonna get the gel that gets stuck on the blade of the paint mixer off. I like to use the one with the red plasticy because those metal ones they can cut your fingers if you're not safe with it.

Okay.

So here we go.

Great.

We're all good there. All right, so I'm gonna put the lid on it. And again, if you want you can use a paint stick just mix it up just like this if it gets any of the gel the the really concentrated clumps just wipe it off the stick and keep mixing it up. I want to put the lid on this.

And I'm gonna take it and put it out in the sun in just a moment.

Okay.

Let's go for the six gallon beverage dispenser.

okay, so now I'm gonna show you using the water dispenser where we're at.

So you can see well you might not be able to see but it says 16 quarts right there and I'm gonna turn it this way.

Just like that and we're gonna go ahead and use the foam daddy gel.

Take off the lid.

Take off the little rank.

and now you can kind of see it poured in there.

Just like that.

I'm gonna get the sides again. That's where a lot of the foam gel will get concentrated. It's a little harder to get out but just running your hands down makes it super simple just like that now I'm going to start at the top.

and get every bit in there

squeeze it all the way out.

just like so

get a little bit fill this back up.

Switch that around we'll use that later.

Okay, great. So let's go ahead and you can see all of the awesome Ultra concentrated foam. Daddy. Gel at the bottom. I'm gonna go ahead and put the mixer inside.

I want a little fast there. But again, I'm gonna use it so long the size of the buckets just like this.

Just like that.

And if it gets anything on there, it's really easy. You can just take that out. Just like this slide your finger across.

And get it off the blade.

And stir it for like two minutes just like this.

Okay, awesome. So I've mixed it for about two minutes and you can see it swirling around it's little pieces now. And again if you put that out in the sun you leave it overnight you'll have foam daddy ready foam solution in no time. And again, if you're in a pinch and you need it within two hours just do this same thing outside every 15 minutes and you'll see it dissolves super fast. Okay. So the foam is sat overnight. It's completely clear. It's ready to stick into the easy poor gallon jugs. You can get these from Uline. I'm sure you can get them on Amazon another places as well as the six gallon beverage dispenser, but you're gonna fill it up to about this line right here. It's about a gallon and and one tip is You're Gonna Want to crack the top of this so that it can flow out a lot easier. And and if you have space in a sink and you can hold it right here great. If you need you can also use a funnel and just put the funnel there.

And and fill up your containers.

And now you're ready to go and that's how you dilute Ultra concentrated foam. Daddy. Gel.
